Migrating your existing podcast from Spreaker to POST is a simple process and can be accomplished without losing any subscribers or content.
The first step is to import your existing podcast content to POST. Then, to trigger Apple Podcasts and other podcast directories to start pulling from your new feed, you will redirect your old Spreaker RSS feed to your new POST RSS feed by following these steps:
- Log into Spreaker and click Settings.
- Click RSS Feed Customization.
- Select Redirect in the RSS Feed drop-down menu.
- Paste your POST RSS feed into the New Feed URL field.
- Click Save.
After you complete these steps, Spreaker will redirect your feed to POST.
NOTE: It is best practice to leave your Spreaker URL feed in place with Apple Podcasts for a few weeks to ensure that all your subscribers are transferred, though typically the process happens within a few days.
