Once Futuri creates your new mobile app, you will be invited to review the app test flight before publishing it to your listeners in the Apple and Google Play stores. When your Futuri implementation specialist indicates it is time to test your app, follow the directions below for your device's operating system:
iOS Devices
- Download the Testflight app from the Apple app store on your ios phone running 14.0 or later.
- You will receive an email that looks like this, inviting you to test the app:
- Open the email on your phone and click the blue button to View in Testflight.
- You will be prompted to Accept and then Install the app.
- Once installed, the testflight app will appear on your phone home screen with your other apps, but it will have a yellow circle before the app name. This indicates it is a testflight. Once your app is live in the Apple app store, you can download the public version, and it will replace this testflight automatically.
- In the future, if updates are released to your testflight app, you will see the "Install" button appear in the Testflight app on your phone. You can download the new version from here.
Android Devices
- Your implementation specialist will provide you with a link to download your test app. Open the link on your phone.
- Click on the top blue install link to download the test app.
- After the file completes, you can access it from your Downloads folder and click to install it.
- Next, you will be prompted to install the app. Once installed, you will see a prompt to open it.
- Once installed, you can access the app just like any other one on your home screen.
- Once your app is live in the Google Play store, you can download the public version, and it will replace this test app automatically.
- In the future, if updates are released to your testflight app, you can download the new version from the same link after you refresh the web page. Just repeat this process again to update your app.
