Tether - Secondary Requestables Overview

The "Secondary Requestables" feature in Tether allows stations to highlight smaller lists of songs, separate from the main list of songs in the "What Should We Play" module.

For example, this can be handy if you want to highlight the newest songs in your rotation.

NOTE: The song previews used for Secondary Requestables will be pulled from the iTunes database. If you would like to be able to upload song previews (or other audio, like morning show bits), try the Featured Music feature instead.

If you'd like to have Secondary Requestables enabled for your station, please contact Futuri VIP Support.

Once the feature has been enabled for your station, you can add songs to the list in the Futuri Control Room under #engage Playlists > Library.

On this page, there are two ways to add songs:

  • Upload a CSV and choose the secondary list from the drop-down shown below:
  • Check the box next to the song in the table at the bottom of the page, as shown below:

When you're ready for it to go live in your Tether platform, you can add the module under #engage > Module Configuration. For more information on customizing your Tether modules, click here.
