POST: Setting Up AudioShield™

POST AudioShield™ enables users to be sure that podcasts published through POST are free of content for which they do not have a license.  Content published through POST with AudioShield™ still maintains PPM encoding for broadcast radio stations.

To enable POST AudioShield™, a station engineer will want to complete the following steps:

If You Run Axia Livewire Audio:

  1. Set up a mix-minus audio feed of mic channels that provides infringement-free audio.
  2. Next, if you use PPM encoders, run the feed through one. If not, skip this step.
  3. Feed your audio to the POST transmitter.
  4. Make sure the correct Axia channel is set on your transmitter.
  5. Once you have finished your part, immediately notify Futuri VIP Support to complete the process and align your audio.

If You Run Analog Audio:

  1. Set up a mix-minus audio feed of mic feeds or use the feed to phone hybrid.
  2. Next, if you use PPM encoders, run the feed through one. If not, skip this step.
  3. Feed your audio to the POST transmitter.
  4. Once you have finished your part, immediately notify  Futuri VIP Support to complete the process and align your audio.

Once the process is complete, you will still see all your audio segments in POST, but you will only be able to playback segments from your AudioShield™  feed.
